On Saturday 11th October, Porlock will be celebrating International Ada Lovelace Day with its annual “Cream Tea with Inspirational Women”.
The speakers this year will include

Katie Edwards-Williams – Head of Managing Director’s Office at Hinkley Point C
Prof Sarah Morris - Cyber Security group in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton
Louise Butcher – Inspirational runner.
Cream Tea with Inspirational Women takes place in Porlock Village Hall, starting at 2.30pm. Tickets are £9 and are available online at

Please buy your tickets early, as there will only be a limited number available on the door and the event has sold out every year since it was first held in 2013!
