On Saturday morning, September 13, from 10:00 – 11:00am, Donna Inversin returns to the park to speak on the progress of the building of “The Historic V&T Trail”.
Donna Inversin will give a presentation on the nonprofit’s continued efforts to find the remaining sections of old rail bed routes to bring them together in order to build a multi-use path of between sixty and eighty miles, which will echo the Virginia and Truckee Railroad. The trail is being designed for the benefit and enjoyment of the citizens and visitors of Northern Nevada.
Donna Inversin is a retired registered nurse who is enthusiastic about the outdoors and believes that staying active is important to maintaining one’s physical and emotional health. Inversin has been a member of the Board of Directors for Muscle Powered; Citizens for a Walkable/Bikeable Carson City since 2007. She is a founding member and current President of The Historic Virginia and Truckee Trail.
This event is free for all to attend.
Please bring your own seating. During all events, no pets are allowed - certified service animals only. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Guests are welcome to bring snacks and beverages, as no food or beverages will be sold at these events. All events are held outdoors.
