Walk For Wishes® is a nationwide Make-A-Wish® fundraising event that celebrates the more than 550,000 wishes that have been granted around the world, while raising the necessary funds to grant more wishes in the future. It is a family-friendly event powered by wish families, volunteers, companies, donors and friends.
By participating in one of the many walks held throughout the country, you can help bring the life-changing impact of a wish to children in your community who are battling critical illnesses.
A wish can truly transform a child’s life, and you can help grant it by participating in Walk For Wishes.

Event Location: Henry Maier Festival Park - Summerfest Grounds — 200 N Harbor Dr Milwaukee, WI 53202
Event Schedule:
8:00 a.m. - Gates & pledge drop-off opens
8:45 a.m. - Kids Dash
9:00 a.m. - Walk Begins
9:15 a.m. - Music from DJ JoJo, games, face painting, food trucks and so much more.
Registration fees: Registration is free. We just ask you to help raise funds or make a donation to help make wishes come true for children with critical illnesses.
T-shirt information: Everyone who raises $100+ will receive a t-shirt in addition to the pledge prize they qualify for. Shirt sizes will be available on first-come, first-serve basis.
