Spend Labor Day weekend at the Third Ward Art Festival!
Saturday, Aug. 30 - 10-5 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 31 - 10-5 p.m.
Free and open to the public, the Third Ward Art Festival in Milwaukee will showcase the work of more than 200 juried artists from around the country in a variety of mediums including ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, paintings, drawings, photography, and more!
In addition to the incredible artwork available for purchase, attendees will be able to interact with artists through demonstrations and booth chats.
Fun for the entire family, the festival features an interactive kid’s art tent with face painting, sand sculptures, and other activities, as well as designated “Kid Friendly” booths, where artists welcome children into their space to learn more about the art-making process.
Thirsty? Stop by one of the three Historic Third Ward Association bars along Broadway, serving beer, wine, seltzer, mimosas and more. Plus, beverage sales benefit the Association and tips support the Downtown Milwaukee Dog Park.
Plus, visit the Marshall Building Art Crawl for to explore 12 art galleries and artist studios on six floors of the Marshall Building (207 E. Buffalo St.).
Live music and food trucks round out this artful Labor Day weekend event. With an array of nearby cafes, pubs, theaters, galleries, and unique shops surrounding the festival, guests are sure to enjoy an entertaining weekend full of art and culture.
The festival is wheelchair and stroller accessible, and there is plenty of nearby parking. Dogs are welcome if they are leashed and friendly.
You can find plenty of easy parking at the two Historic Third Ward Parking Structures located at 212 N. Milwaukee St. and 225 E. Chicago St.
