Overdose awareness Day

Join us as we celebrate Overdose Awareness Day with a special community event on Aug. 30 to honor those lost to overdose and provide support for individuals and families impacted by addiction.

The event will feature remarks from Milwaukee County Dept. of Health and Human Services executive director Shakita L. LaGrant-McClain, moving personal stories of loss, grief support speakers, a balloon release in honor of the lives lost to addiction, and refreshments. Free Naloxone (Narcan) kits and on-site training in overdose reversal will also be provided.
