About the event

FROM A WHISPER TO A SYMPHONY: Black Holes, Neutron Stars, and Gravitational Waves
The Leonard E. Parker Center for Gravitation, Cosmology and Astrophysics, in partnership with the Manfred Olson Planetarium, invites you to an evening with Dr. Patrick Brady and friends as they discuss what we have learned about black holes and neutron stars since the first observation of gravitational waves.

Please reserve your free spot for this event before September 14, 2025.

The event will be held in room 108 of the new Chemistry building on the campus of UW-Milwaukee. There will be a reception at 6:30 PM. The program starts at 7:00 PM. There will be complimentary appetizers and a bar with drinks for purchase in the lobby. We look forward to seeing you there!
