Rediscover the physical joy of music. This program explores the
music of dance as a deep expression of cultural identity
and emotion.
We are honored to partner with Violins of Hope-Wisconsin, presented by the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra. Several CCO members will play instruments that belonged to Jewish musicians before and during the Holocaust. Given new life, the voices of these violins carry both grief and resilience, reminding
us that the legacy of those who perished endures. In their notes, we hear not only sorrow but also courage, dignity, and the enduring power of hope.
Please join us as we explore the many ways music moves us, both body and soul.
