The Bamboo Babies are bringing back the tropical music of the jazz age. Whether it is the warm breezy tunes Slinging you off to a deserted island in the South Seas, or a hot Hawaiian number that will have you dancing the night away like it's Waikiki in 1929, The Bamboo Babies will satisfy your Tropical Itch. No need to Comb the Beaches for antique Sol Ho'opi'i records, The Bamboo Babies will Jet Pilot the rhythms directly to you. So feel free as a Jungle Bird as the music streams down the mountain like a Lava Flow. Whether you're feeling like being a Beachbum, or just need a Pain Killer, you'll find what you need with the Bamboo Babies.

Looking to revive the lost swing and jazz music of Hawaii, The Bamboo Babies were formed in 2023 by members of two swing bands: the Sweet Sheiks and the Westerlees. Instrumental and vocal tunes are selected from old recordings and sheet music, and performed as a trio including two ukuleles and an acoustic steel guitar. The music was incredibly influential on the subsequent history of music across the world, but was somehow lost to time. The Bamboo Babies are delighted to bring this beautiful music back to audiences of today.
