DATE: 06 DEC • STEP OFF: 1000 HOURS
LOCATION: BLACK MOUNTAIN AO, MILTON KY
WEATHER: SUB-FREEZE TEMPS, LOW VISIBILITY, HIGH WIND CHILL
UNITS: ALL AVAILABLE ELEMENTS
⸻
📡 SITUATION
After a prolonged period of inactivity, enemy elements have reestablished a foothold across the Black Mountain AO. Recon drones picked up movement near the barns, the creek line, and several outer trails. Unknown forces have fortified key structures and are believed to be stockpiling weapons and intel caches.
Local command is authorizing a full-scale winter operation to disrupt enemy activity, seize control of the AO, and reestablish dominance before hostile reinforcements arrive.
Snow cover and frozen terrain will limit mobility. Expect low visibility, suppressed sound travel, and delayed reaction times.
Your advantage: surprise, aggression, and superior coordination.
âš THREAT ASSESSMENT
Enemy forces are:
• Well-armed
• Weather-hardened
• Operating in small, mobile squads
• Familiar with cover and concealment throughout the tree line and creek areas
Expect ambushes, long-range marksmen, and rapid repositioning.
⸻
📦 LOADOUT REQUIREMENTS
MANDATORY:
• Full winter layering
• Hydration
• Gloves and cold-weather face protection
• Lights/markers for low-vis zones
RECOMMENDED:
• Mid/long-range weapons
• Extra mags (cold reduces gas efficiency)
• Squad comms
• White or grey camo accents for concealment
📢 COMMANDER’S END NOTE
This is not a warm-weather skirmish.
This is a winter assault.
You will be cold, tired, and fighting through wind and terrain that will slow you down.
Only units that communicate, adapt, and press the objective will take back the Mountain.
Gear up. Layer up. Move with purpose.
Operation WINTER REBOOT begins at 1000.
See you on the field, troops.
