This one-night-only rehearsed reading is the world premiere of ‘First Night (of the One Day of the Year)’ by Brisbane playwright, Stephen Vagg (‘All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane’). Stephen takes us backstage to the 1960 first night of one of Australia’s most successful plays – Alan Seymour’s now celebrated work about post-war Australia, ‘The One Day of the Year’.
