Beneath the oaks of Elmira, you’ll find white chandeliers floating in the evening breeze, twinkling with warmth, even hope. Beneath those chandeliers, people gathering like the old days—in the spirit of fellowship and a celebration of life—“Pure Love” for each other, for Earth, for Maker. And we’ll eat together and make conversation and laugh and catch up. And something magical will happen—by the time the evening is over—we will have been deeply nourished—by beauty, by delicious food, by community, by remembering the goodness of people and what we’re unified in—lifting our community, healing what’s broken, bringing home what’s been lost.
Love & Lights is the annual fundraising event for First Presbyterian Church, Milton. Its proceeds will support every ministry our community is taking up and taking out. That’s enough but it’s always more than that too—it’s a reminder of beauty in the world, of cool, relaxed evenings where people gather and reconnect, a reminder that community matters and, in case we’ve really forgotten, is so beautiful. Join us for an incredible evening.
