Eishinkan Taikai, Buxton Cup and Koryu Jodo training : 18 and 19th October 2025
Eishinkan dojo are pleased to announce that the 23rd Eishinkan Taikai will take place at Millmead
Hall, Wolverton on 18th October 2025, followed by a second shorter day of koryu training on the
19th led by Hopson sensei and other 6th and 7th Dan sensei present .
As usual we would be extremely grateful if any Jodo Godan, Rokudan and Nanadan would be
prepared to improve their refereeing skills instead of joining a team in the main competition, however
they are
welcome to compete if they prefer. To keep the event costs low we are unable to pay referee
expenses but there will be a small gift for all participants.
This year we are delighted to introduce a new additional 2 person koryu team taikai, the Buxton
Cup, which will also take place on the 18th October after the Eishinkan Taikai and the Plate
Competition.
Alain Bangard’s wonderful curry will be available for all participants on the Saturday, and a light
lunch will be provided on the Sunday.
Let’s look forward to a safe , friendly and enjoyable weekend’s training among friends.Lastly,
please bring back the trophies, preferably engraved with your triumph from the last event.
