A World Record 10,000 Miles on the West Highland Way

A big shout out to Robert Marshall who will complete a world record starting on 6th September 2025 of 100 West Highland Ways and 10,000 miles on the way.

If you are in or near Milngavie on Saturday the 6th 2025 you are welcome to join us at 8:00 am at Milngavie Station.

Live music and celebration, a chance to be involved in a historic celebration of a man's epic journey. Local news and the BBC will be covering history in the making.

This group is what Scottish hillwalking is all about we need your support and we need you to recognise a person that has taken hillwalking and Scotland to his heart.
