Join us for an afternoon of hands-on pond exploration! Together we’ll scoop, observe, and learn about the amazing critters and plants that call the pond home. Children will get the chance to study frogs, insects, water plants, and more in a safe and engaging way.
We’ll use nets, buckets, and magnifiers to explore, then talk about what we find. This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to connect with nature, practice observation skills, and learn about local ecosystems.
👧👦 Who’s it for?
• Perfect for kids of all ages (younger ones may need extra parent help).
• Families and homeschoolers welcome.
✅ What to Bring
• A small bucket or jar (clear, for observing pond life)
• Nets or magnifying glasses if you have them
• Towels & extra clothes/shoes (kids will likely get wet!)
• Water & snacks for after the activity
• Sunscreen/bug spray
