Big Bailey Run Road Litter Clean Up

We will start off this litter pick up with a Keep Southeast Ohio Beautiful Chapter meeting (est 15 minutes) all are welcome! We will be working to help make the road ways safer for our community members and visitors.

The little pickup will commence from 1:30PM - 4:00PM focusing on cleaning up litter and illegal dumping along the roadways. We will collect recycleables, trash, and hard to recycle materials such as tires and furnature. In addition to typical roadside litter, we will be picking up several larger pieces of furniture that will be a group effort to load into a box truck.

Rural Action Zero Waste will train volunteers on litter pick up saftey, review what common items are recycleable and what needs to be landfilled and provide equiptment to support the litter pick up such as: gloves, saftey vests, litter grabbers, buckets, and trash/ recycling bags.
