What to expect:

Worth-A-Shot will walk toy through this entire process from start to finish during this four hour class. Our knowledgeable staff will teach you the legalities of owning a firearm, safe handling of a firearm, maintenance and home safety. Our still will the be conducting your live-scan fingerprints and personally walk you through the entire application process on the MD State Police website. At the end of this course, the student will be finished the entire application process and just waiting on the arrival of the permit in the mail.

Cost of training class: $75

Cost of live-scan fingerprinting: $60

Cost to apply on MD State Police site: $50

Students will receive a voucher for $25 credit towards a handgun purchase in store at Worth-A-Shot Firearms within 45 days of their class date.
