Guest Artist Recital: Francisco Silva, piano - Beethoven's Hammerklavier

Tuesday, Sept. 9 A Guest Artist Recital, “Beethoven’s Hammerklavier,” featuring pianist Francisco Silva will be at 7:30 p.m. in Max Noah Recital Hall at Georgia College & State University. This performance will feature three of Beethoven’s late piano sonatas: Opus 90, 101, and 106, nicknamed the “Hammerklavier”-- considered to be the most difficult of his 32 sonatas. This concert will also be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/GCMusicDepartment. A $5 donation is encouraged. Online donations can be made at give.gcsu.edu/g/department-of-music/.
