Tree bathing under Super Moon, with Docent Franklin Young

This hike will immerse you among tall Redwoods and Douglas Firs with the soothing sound of the Fern Creek. It will be led by Docent Franklin Young.

Trail head: Alice Eastwood Gate, at the lot adjacent to 757 Panoramic Hwy
Time: 5PM-7PM
Route: the paved Camp Alice Eastwood fire road. It is suitable for low light and light rain
Distance: about 3.5 miles (with about 500 feet elevation gain on return)
Pace: moderate

Additional information: Dress in layers and wear suitable footwear. Carry water. Headlamps or flashlights are needed. Ticks and poison oak may be present along trails.
