An event Modeled after the Blacksmiths Hammer-in, all Crafts persons are invited to come and share their skills with others practicing the trade, and to the public. There are Areas for Forging and metal work, Woodworking, Cooking, Fiber Arts, and other Crafts
The event is an open concept in all of the areas. The idea is for those in each area to share knowledge with each other and expand their skills by learning from those with a common interest, but differences in research, ability, region or time frames they study.
Bring your own or favorite tools, items and materials that are specific to your craft, or if you are looking to learn in a different area, there are tools available at the living history village. These include cooking, spinning, weaving, sewing, woodworking and blacksmithing.
Anyone interested in teaching a class or doing a specific demonstration is welcome to do so and can post when and what in the discussion page. The open format allows for flexibility depending on the skill level of the participants wanting to learn.
