Bead Therapy Workshop

Come and enjoy the creative process in a tranquil space. This interactive and meditative workshop teaches the basics of making beaded jewelry, focusing on semi-precious stones and natural materials. Each participant will keep all the pieces they make. All materials are provided free of charge.

Registration is required and opens on August 18, 2025. Space is limited to 15 participants. SPOTS are filling up fast!

Meet the Instructor
Zangar Freeman is a first-generation Liberian-American jewelry artist, educator, and veteran who integrates cultural storytelling and art therapy practices into his beadwork. He started ZMakesBeads L.L.C. in 2018 (www.zmakesbeads.com). With a background in social work and a deep appreciation for community connection, he has taught beadwork and expressive arts across the lifespan, working with youth clubs, community centers, senior centers, and schools.
