Come up to the Wasatch Mountain State Park, Saturday, January 10th at 10am, to learn about the local trees and history, with good company in a beautiful setting! All abilities welcome to this interactive experience, where we will be using a dichotomous tree key to identify trees along our hike.
There are limited spots for this event and registration is required!
There is a suggested donation of $10 for the tour, which includes the parking pass. You can plan ahead and donate at treeutah.org/give ♡. Or Venmo/cash can be collected at the event!
Snowshoes are available to rent down at the Visitor Center for a few dollars. Please leave extra time to rent gear / try shoes on, etc, especially since the visitor center can get busy on Saturdays.
We will be meeting at the parking lot in the park, on Miner's Retreat Road. (Drive through the Pine Creek Campground). Here is the pin:

We recommend you bring a backpack, water, hot beverage, gloves, hat, boots, snow-proof pants and warm layers!
