The North and South Fields are part of who we are as a community.
They are the open views that greet us every morning, the land that reminds us why we chose to live here, and the space that gives Heber Valley its identity. They are working land, wildlife corridors, farms and a reminder that not everything needs to be paved to have value.
Right now, the North/South Fields are being threatened by UDOT bypass plans and development decisions that put private land at risk and permanently alter the landscape of our valley — without the voices of landowners and residents truly being heard.
Once these fields are gone, they are gone forever!
This isn’t just about one road. It’s about a pattern of decisions being made without transparency, without meaningful community input, and without respect for private property. It’s about being told what’s “best” for our valley by agencies that don’t have to live with the consequences.
This tractorcade is a peaceful, community-led stand to say:
Make UDOT listen.
Respect private land.
Protect the North and South Fields.
We are showing up because this is our home and homes are worth defending!
Everyone is invited to join the convoy in whatever way they can:
🚜 Tractors and farm equipment
🚙 Side-by-sides and vehicles
🚲 Bicycles
🐎 Horses
🚶 Or on foot
Bring lots of signs and make your voice visible.
