USU Extension Faculty Wesley Crump will be go over the basic principles of pruning fruit trees, including the different pruning styles for different trees. We’ll start at Stillwater Farm (651 S Street Lane, Midway, UT) with young trees to discuss early stage pruning in peaches, apples, pears, and plums then we’ll travel a short distance (5 minutes) to Summerhouse Farms (2001 W 1200 S, Heber City, UT) to discuss mature apple tree pruning. Then we'll get some hands-on practice! Same workshop offered both times.
