🤠LDS Single Adult Country Dance ðŸ¤

7:30pm until 11:45pm

This is the December dance everyone has been waiting for. The night starts at 7:30 with a dance lesson that runs until 8:15. If your two step currently looks like a confused scripture chase this is your moment of redemption. After the lesson we dance straight through until 11:45 and the only people judging your footwork are the angels in heaven keeping a very kind and merciful record.
The event is completely free. All we ask is that everyone bring a package of bottled water or soda or snacks to share. It is the eternal truth of LDS activities. The activity is free but someone still has to bring the refreshments and someone else will definitely pretend they did not see the sign up sheet.
We will have country swing, line dancing, and west coast swing in the main room. There is also a dedicated Latin room with salsa, bachata, and merengue for anyone who wants a little extra spice in their Friday night. Beginners are absolutely welcome. If you know nothing this is the place to learn. If you know everything this is the place to find someone cute to teach.
The atmosphere will be upbeat warm and full of that unmistakable LDS single adult vibe. Cowboy boots automatically increase confidence by at least three spiritual levels. Someone will definitely say they are only here for the exercise but we all know they secretly prayed about meeting someone tonight. And somewhere in the building a bishop will be smiling because he can check "encourage social interaction" off his list.
You might find your next dance partner or your next crush or your next "we met at a church dance and now my mom thinks it is a sign" moment. Even the refreshment table becomes a possible place for destiny especially when two people reach for the last Costco muffin at the same time.
Come ready for great music lively dancing friendly people and the kind of night your roommates or group chat will absolutely overanalyze. Pull on your boots grab your hat bring something to share and get ready for a fantastic night at the LDS Single Adult Country Dance.
