Auditions for "Loose Ends"

Titus Productions Theatre Co. is excited to announce auditions for Tyler Newton's new original dark comedy play, "Loose Ends"!

Auditions will be held in-person on Wednesday, February 4th at Midvale Performing Arts Center, with callbacks by invitation only on Saturday February 7th.

Due to the mature content of the show, auditions are open to ages 18 and up.

Auditioners should prepare approximately 30 seconds of a modern piece that showcases sharp comedic timing and delivery.

Performances will be May 8 - May 16. The show will have 6 performances.

It's rare for a show like this to be produced and the production company is so excited to share the unique opportunity of telling this story with you!

All roles are on a volunteer basis.

SYNOPSIS

Following their father’s suicide, three estranged siblings attempt to frame their father’s former business partner for murder in order to collect his life insurance money. Meanwhile a grisly murder at a local diner attracts the attention of a local police deputy. Chaos unfolds as elements of the two cases cross paths. This show is recommended for mature audiences for language, violence, and moral turpitude.

RYAN WILLIAMS
Oldest brother, morally flexible but highly anxious and pragmatic.

JENNIFER WILLIAMS
Only sister, abrasive and impatient; a scheming, witty alcoholic.

FREDERICK WILLIAMS
Youngest sibling - Impulsive, wants to impress, self-centered but likeable.

LISA JOHNSON WILLIAMS
Frederick’s wife, finds joy in the simple things, just wants a happy family and to become a mother.

PHIL BLUMPKIN
David’s estate lawyer, stutters, hates confrontation, just doing his job.

STACY CAVENDISH
CEO of Williams Home Theater and Audio, cold hard business, shady, almost as impatient as Jennifer.

CHUCK
Stacy’s secretary/bodyguard, stoic, menacing, has probably killed someone before.

CHRIS THOMPSON
David’s butler, friendly and kind, has a secret and a great deal of underlying sadness.

HENRY "SHANK" JEFFERSON
Contract killer and sociopath, likeable but terrifying.

LIEUTENANT DET. REGGIE SUMMERS
Lead on murder invest., experienced, just doing his job, disillusioned.

OFFICER HARPER BROWN
a bit of a rookie, very eager and idealistic, but not naive.

CHIEF MILLNER
Walworth Chief of Police, good heart; fatherly vibes.
