Featured Chef: Chef Shayola
Chef Shayola, also known as The Healer Dealer.
Originally from Brooklyn and now based in Richmond, Virginia, she is a wholistic practitioner and the founder of Big Momma’s Green House, which includes SANA (Sisters Anchored in Natural Alignments) and The Green Plate Society.
As a graduate of the Living Light Culinary Institute, a plant-based chef, and a certified doula, Chef Shayola is devoted to supporting spiritual, physical, and financial wellness. Her work focuses on soulFULL cuisine, ancestral remembrance, and community nourishment.

Carrot “Tuna” Rolls with Shayoli Sauce
Seasoned carrot pulp blended with herbs and aromatics, rolled and paired with sticky black rice and crisp kale slaw.

Mini Cheesecake or Signature Scookie
A lightly sweetened dessert prepared with balance and care. Soft, familiar, and heart-centered.
