🌶️ Chili Cookoff Rules 🌶️
⏰ Judging will start promptly @ 2:30pm
• All entrants need to be checked in prior to judging start time
• All crockpots will be assigned a random number as they check in their chili 🔢
👩⚖️ 4 anonymous judges will be selected prior to cook off day. With no relation to any entrants in any way!
• They will judge from another room so they cannot see which crockpot they are sampling from 🚪
🙋 An additional volunteer will be selected following the same restrictions listed above
• This person will be the one to handoff the chili samples to the judges 🥄
• This person will also oversee the tabulation of the scorecards 📊
🍲 Each pot will be stirred a minimum of 3x before pulling the judging sample
• Approximately two (2) spoonfuls will be given to each of the three (3) judges
• An additional sample can be asked for from any of the judges @ any time during the judging time
