We run a permaculture style food forest on a 1400sq m suburban block. We have over 100 fruit, nut and berry trees, vines, and bushes; frogs and ponds, resident quenda, shady hammocks to relax in and open areas to sit and chat with friends.
We operate as a rabbit boarding house and are able to grow enough salad and veggies to feed two humans and up to 20 rabbits year round! We use organic, circular practices to create our own mulch, compost, fertilisers and pest control, which means minimal costs and minimal efforts for maximum produce and enjoyment. Come visit to see how we do it.

We have been hard at work adding in more native plants to create more habitat for native birds, bugs, bees and other critters. We've also completed the kitchen garden zone that was in the planning stages last year, added budget heat proofing elements to the house and set up a rain water system.
Our lawn replacement is complete with a lovely new no-mow groundcover, and a verge produce sharing cart and community herb garden is in place. The poultry zone got a face lift, and we now have some very friendly chickens who've joined the ducks! You won't be bored visiting a second time and seeing everything that's new.
