SeptemberFest returns to the Museum of the Southwest September 5–7, 2025, for its 56th year of celebrating art, culture, and community.
Our beloved fundraiser features over 40 artists from across the country, live demonstrations, food and drink vendors, and hands-on family activities across the Museum’s historic campus.

Saturday and Sunday bring full festival days, including artist demonstrations, the popular KinderFest area with mini golf and crafts, science activities at the planetarium, and even a painting pachyderm with an onsite animal education specialist.
The weekend kicks off Friday with a Garden Party Preview from 3–7 PM, offering early access to artist booths, a curated silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, specialty drinks, and live music from Current Nine.
Guests can also explore the final weekend of Midland Collects and the opening of the Penelope Gottlieb exhibition.
Proceeds support the Museum’s exhibitions, education programs, and historic preservation efforts.
