The next hand gun scenario and open shooting event will be at my house (911 11 mie road, midland, mi 48640) on Sunday Oct 12th from 2pm to 5pm.

It will be 2 handgun scenarios followed by time spend shooting real gun.
You can exit via the portal of safety at anytime.
Scenario 1 - The person being attacked must feel that their life is in danger. We have done 30 seconds type scenarios since FAST but for this the scenario could run 2 to 3 minutes. The instructor or coach will hand 2 lazer guns out. 1 of those 2 will be attacked but they do not know which one. I think we will need at least 10 people for this, the coach will select 1 to 3 of the remaining 8 to be the attackers. Everyone will simulate like they are walking along a sidewalk in the city until the attacker(s) attack their victim who will use the lazer to defend himself. The scenario will continue until off the selected attackers have attacked (they can attack at some time or different times). I can see people getting wolfed who are not the victim or attacker to keep things going. We could one scenario outside like a sidewalk/park with chairs and tables. Next time we will like to add where the attacker might attack 1 or 2 others before attacking the person.
Scenario 2 - You must feel the person life is in danger or serious crime like rape or know the person. Then do a third party intervention for the 2nd. You will have to decide whether to get involved or not. This could be someone getting attacked with a knife to the throat, dragging someone away, gun threatening someone else or even them shooting others etc. Next time we will like to add where you know the person. I think the ones who used the portal of safety without shooting we will do that for their second scenario.
We will do debriefs after each scenario.
After the scenarios are done, then they can go to their car and get real weapons. I would encourage the real weapon time be spend repeating the scenario in their head with shooting down range. They would be encouraged to repeat the same distance and work in any improvements.
Bring sunglasses due to the lazer gun and clothes with belt for holster. If you have guns and holsters bring them.
It will be outside so dress for the weather.
Each scenario will start gathered in the pole barn. The coach will assign who carries the lazer gun and who will be attacked for the first scenario. We do not want them to know who will attack them or which one will be attacked.
The coach will assign who carries the lazer gun for the 3rd party one but keep it secret from the 3 bad guys. The bad guys will be selected first so they do not know who has the lazer guns.
