Contemplative Evening Prayer for Epiphany

Most churches will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany on Sunday 4 January as part of regular Sunday worship and will hear again of the Magi, the Wise Ones who travel to see the Christ Child.

Called the Theophany (manifestation of God) in Eastern Christian traditions, the Epiphany is also an opportunity for us to discover that Christ is also manifest within us and among us.

This Contemplative Evening Prayer service will guide us towards that manifestation through prayer, scripture, silence and meditation.
