Join Kathy Shannon as she reflects on the Museum’s visionary beginnings in 1975 — from the wildcatters who dreamed it into existence, to the people and milestones that fueled its growth, to the bold ideas shaping its mission today.

From preserving the history of the Permian Basin to creating hands-on learning experiences that inspire future innovators, the Museum’s journey is one of passion, perseverance, and progress.
