Calling all book lovers, journal keepers, and crafty creatives. Join us at Event Horizon Hobbies for a relaxed, bookish workshop where sparkle meets your favourite book!
You’ll decorate your own soft-cover book by bedazzling titles, words, and small decorative details — not the entire cover. Think elegant lettering, subtle sparkle, and aesthetic accents that turn a favorite book into a beautiful shelf-worthy piece.
Please bring your own book.
We recommend bringing 2–3 soft-cover book options to make sure the material and layout are suitable for bedazzling. (Some covers work better than others.)
Perfect for journals, planners, reading logs, or booktok-style notebooks.
What to expect:
Guidance on lettering, layout, and gem placement
Gems of different size options and colours suited for fonts and small accents
A cozy, creative atmosphere with fellow book lovers
Leaving with a book that still feels readable but is beautifully shimmery
All glue and gem wax pens will be supplied. (WE WILL NOT BE USING TWEEZERS)
No crafting experience needed — just a love for books and a little sparkle.
