Info: Strategic planning is arguably one of the most critical components of nonprofit capacity because it determines how to deploy financial and human resources to respond to the needs of the community. But conventional strategic plans can have limitations. This workshop is designed to help you understand the core components of a strategic framework and define success for your programs and organization. Through real-world examples and practice exercises, you will learn the rationale for adopting a strategic framework and key steps to take to ensure its endurance. Learn best practices, identify opportunities for strategy work, and gain access to an open-source tool for defining and measuring operational success.
Info: In this workshop, you'll discover how a strong theory of change can supercharge your ability to communicate your impact. Learn how to create a clear, compelling theory that not only guides your work but also helps you connect with funders and stakeholders. In this session, you will begin to develop or refine your theory of change and practice using your theory of change to tell the story of your potential impact. Leave with resources for developing or refining your theory and examples of how theory guides storytelling.
Info: Mondo Unlimited helps nonprofit leaders enhance engagement within their boards. In this workshop, Stacey and MiVida will focus on strategies to activate boards, shift board culture sustainably, and incorporate engagement practices directly into board development. This workshop combines a presentation with collaborative activities and practical exercises. Collaborate with peers while you develop tactics and action steps for board engagement. Leave equipped with a customizable Board Engagement Toolkit to implement in your organization.
Info: Healthy Places by Design developed Collaboration Lab as an interactive training to help local leaders become more powerful collaborators as they take on complex community problems. This workshop is designed to help sharpen your collaborative leadership skills. Learn key concepts and apply practical tools for strengthening partnerships, including navigating uncertainty, inclusive processes, sharing power, and community engagement. Participants will reflect on their own leadership strengths and areas for growth while engaging with others in small group sessions. Leave energized with peer connections and practical resources and techniques for immediate use in collaborative work.

Today, fund diversification and donor retention are key. Participants will analyze current fundraising trends, identify and challenge limiting beliefs, explore the power of collaborative fundraising models, learn to develop donor personas that guide outreach, and walk away with the mindset and tools to implement successful practices.

Learn how to craft a clear narrative that not only highlights your work but also engages funders and stakeholders. You will practice using data to tell an impact story and begin to develop and refine your data-driven story. Leave with tools and examples for weaving data into compelling stories and a plan to spruce up your data storytelling.
