Wreaths Across America

On Saturday, December 13, more than 1,200 cemeteries across America will invite their communities to pay tribute to fallen heroes by taking part in National Wreaths Across America Day. Citizens will recognize our military veteran’s courage and sacrifice by placing a live evergreen wreath on a veteran's grave. Sunset Memorial Park, in partnership with the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), is honored to host this event for the Wiregrass.

There will be a brief ceremony at Sunset Memorial Park, beginning at 12 pm. Following the ceremony, the general public is invited to place wreaths on veteran graves.

The mission of Wreaths Across America is "Remember, Honor, Teach." Organizers encourage parents and grandparents to bring their children to Wreaths Across America.
