This is a fun, eco-friendly printmaking workshop turning recycled Tetra Pak cartons into vibrant, original prints. Discover the unique combination of dry point etching and collograph techniques to create stunning effects.
What to Expect:
Learn how to transform washed, used Tetra Pak packaging into your own printing plates.
Use sharp dry point tools and sandpaper to transfer your chosen image onto the plate.
Ink your plate by hand and create beautiful A4 prints using an etching press.
What to Bring:
Bring along your drawings, sketches, or found images if you’d like some inspiration (totally optional!). We’ll also have plenty of resource material and examples of prints from previous workshops to spark your creativity.
About Lucy Gell:
Lucy is an experienced printmaker known for her playful, character-filled illustrations of animals. She blends simple design, rich textures, and a love for the unexpected joys of printmaking. Lucy runs regular workshops in her hometown of New Mills, Derbyshire, and art retreats in Europe. She’s a member of West Yorkshire Print Workshop and passionate about sharing the magic of hands-on printmaking.
