Spooky season is here and, if you’re anything like us, you’re ready for ALL of the fall candle scents! Join us for a two-in-one workshop where you will not only make your very own custom wooden-wick candle, but will also create your very own spooky candle holder to go along with it! Join Mandy (Owner of Fire & Grimstone candles and Co-owner of Grimsby Hollow) and Angie (Owner of Celts Goddess and Grimsby Hollow’s lead crafter extraordinaire) for a day of learning, creating and Fall magic.
You will begin with choosing a candle scent blend from a vast array of fall and holiday scented oils. Mandy will work with each attendee one-on-one to show them how to properly blend and pour your perfect candle. As the candles cure, you will join Angie and enjoy crafting your very own spooky candle holder with a skull base. She’ll have baubles, bits, florals, fairy lights and trinkets for you to work with as you fill and decorate the magical glass orb that makes up the center of your holder. If there’s something you already have at home you’d like to bring in to incorporate your own, personal, bit of magic, please do so!
Cure time for your candles will be approximately 2 hours before we recommend you moving them to take home. After that, we recommend allowing them to cure for at least one week before you begin burning to ensure a superior hot throw. While you can technically burn after 72 hours, the scents just aren’t going to carry very well unless you wait.
Tickets are just $43 and include all materials to make one 8 oz wooden-wick candle and one skull base candle holder. All candle-making materials are of the highest quality, toxin free and vegan. The wax we will use is a coconut-apricot blend, so please be aware in case of potential allergies.
Class size is limited to just 12 participants, so don’t delay!
