Eastern Lanes Friday Night Sweeper
When: Every Friday night beginning May 16, 2025 until August 8, 2025 with the End of Summer Shootout on August 15, 2025.
Check-In: 6:00pm-6:30pm Bowling: 6:45PM

Rules:
1. This tournament WILL be sanctioned through the USBC, and all USBC rules will apply.
2. This tournament will be capped at the first 72 bowlers (4 bowlers per lane with 18 lanes available)
3. Youth bowlers will be eligible for this event.
4. All prize money will be awarded that night.
a. Any youth bowler winning prize money, will be awarded into the bowler’s SMART account.
5. Competitors will be allowed 10 minutes of practice prior to the start of the qualifying round.
6. Entering average will be the bowler’s 2023-2024 bowl.com average for 21 games or more (12 games or more for youth), unless current Fall 2024-2025 or Summer 2025 league average is 10 or more pins higher. If no book average available bowler must use current average. If no verifiable average can be found the bowler must bowl scratch.
a. If a bowler has bowled for their high school, and has no other average available for use, they may use their high school bowling average as long as the 12 game requirement is meant and is verifiable through the school’s conference website.
b. If a college bowler is sanctioned through the USBC and USBC Collegiate, their college average can be transferred by the USBC conversion chart from challenge to standard if the average has more than 12 games.
7. This is supposed to be a fun tournament. Any abuse of equipment (kicking or punching of ball returns, walls, tables, etc.) will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave on the spot without refund.
8. Any unruly or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. If you are caught doing anything that is ruled to be unsportsmanlike by the tournament director or bowling center management, you are subject to one warning and any subsequent offense will result in immediate disqualification without refund.
9. During the finals of the tournament, the front table of the live stream pair will be reserved to tournament management and those invited to the live stream ONLY.
10. Handicap will be 80% of 220.

12. Bowlers will bowl 3 games of qualifying. No less than ½ of the bowlers will make it to the next round. We will follow this format until we have an even number of entries to start single elimination match-play.
13. Other prizes other than cash are TBA.
14. Dustin Warmoth and Brian Garland will have final say over any issues, and our decision is final.
15. Scratch and handicap brackets, scratch and handicap jackpots, and handicap mystery doubles will be available at the check-in area.
16. Points will be awarded based on finish during the qualifying round and the entire tournament. Bowlers in the top 20% of points will receive 50% off their entry into the End of Summer Shootout
a. First Sweeper Entry- 5 points
b. Each consecutive entry- 10 points
c. High Qualifier- 5 points
d. High Scratch Game During Qualifying- 5 points
e. High Scratch Qualifying Series- 5 points
f. Honor Score (300/800)- 10 points
g. 1st Place- 25 points
h. 2nd Place- 20 points
i. 3rd Place- 15 points
j. 4th place- 10 points
k. 5th-8th- 5 points
