Try It - Sledge Hockey

Para PowerPlay has invited Paul Rosen all the way from Ontario to Middleton to host Sledge Clinics!

November 1st, November 8th, November 15th with a Banquet to hear his story on November 16th.

He is Sledge Hockey Goalie who played for Canada from 2001-2010. He won a Gold Medal at Paralympics in Torino, Italy in 2006. He won a World Championship in 2008 and a Bronze in 2009. He coached the Standing Amputee National team in 2004 to Gold in Prague, Czech Republic. Paul now is a motivational speaker and we are lucky to have Paul here from Ontario to be a part of Para PowerPlay.

We also have an honorable mention who is joining the ice! Ben Brown has represented Canada at the international stage five times in Para Canoe and Para Athletics. Ben has a total of 14 national gold medals between the two sports, 6 national leading times in Para Canoe, 15 Nova Scotia wheelchair racing records, 4 Canada Games appearances with 3 silver medals in 2017. On top of that Ben won the Support 4 Sport Nova Scotia Sr Male Athlete of the Year in 2023.
