Run for a Reason

The fundraiser supports Magnum Opus School of the Arts and the Professional Company. The event will be raising essential funds for scholarships, program development, and performance opportunities, costumes, studio mainteneance, and keeping the arts affordable to all.

This family friendly 5K welcomes runners, walkers, strollers, and community members of all ages. The course follows a scenic loop through the Pheasant Branch trails, featuring a mix of paved path, packed gravel, and well maintained crushed gravel surfaces that are commonly used by families with strollers. The route is fully offroad with no street crossings, offering a safe and relaxed experience for all participants.

Following the 5K, children all ages are invited to participate in a fun 300meter outandback Kids Dash starting near the shelter. Parents are welcome to run alongside their child, and the entire route remains visible for easy supervision and cheering.

After the races, all are welcome to enjoy the silent auction, celebrate and learn more about Magnum Opus. The event highlights both the joy of springtime on the Pheasant Branch trails and the collective effort to support the Magnum Opus Misson through participation and donations.

*Please note that the magjority of funds raised will come through the silent action and private donations.
