Details:
Guided trail ride for ATVs, UTVs, Dirt Bikes, ADVs Bikes, Mini Bikes (pull start) and now Electric Dirt Bikes.
Note: UTV Maximum Width 65"
Trail consists of a roughly 20 to 25 mile loop.
100% off road on roughly 30 PRIVATE PROPERTIES.
The loop is very scenic with elevation changes over many field crossings between 6 different wood sections.
There are 12 optional true single track sections for more technical woods riding for two wheel participants only. Single tracks may be ridden multiple times!
Have 1/2 loop option marked and easier part of main trail marked with green arrows for less experienced riders or less capable machines to avoid more technical areas.
Knobby tires highly recommended for all.
Ride as fast or slow as you want by choosing the appropriate guide for your ability.
Can ride the loop as many times as you want!
Helmets Required By All (including UTVs).
Non-alcoholic event:
NO DRINKING BEFORE OR DURING RIDE can consume own alcoholic only when done riding for day!
Over the ankle boots required for Dirt Bikes participants.
Lunch and Pop Stop items available by local group at additional cost. (Please support them!)

Adult (18 and older) on own machine: $70
(Adventure Bike Riders - knobby tires highly recommended - larger than 500cc must call Dan if first time to Dan's rides)
Mini Bike (Pull Start) on own machine: $40
Kid over 12 on own machine: $40
Kid under 12 on own machine: $30
(Kid under 12 on own machine must call Dan if first time with kid to Dan's rides)
Passengers 12 and older: $20
Passengers under 12: $10
Ride will start at 10am, but everyone should be unloaded, lined up, and ready to go before the riders meeting at 9:45am.
DO NOT BE THAT GUY. Suggest getting to the ride between 8:00am and 8:30am.
Must be signed in and have a Wristband on before riding trail!

Only pre-register if 90% sure you are coming this means guides, helpers and regulars with 1 to 9 information.
Easier for me if more than one person is coming together is to have one person do pre-registration.

Group does not have to stay together because of various

Payment due at sign-up day of event.
If plans change just keep me posted before 7am on Thursday, the week of the ride. After that time Full Payment is due if you cannot make the ride.
Make payment to Dan Fargen and mail to 7136 Highway K, Middleton, WI 53562. If payment is not received name/s will be banded from future rides.
Additional Information:
If you enjoy the Guided Trail Rides and want to see them continue consider volunteering and please pass the word on to others via Facebook, Twitter, Dual Sport clubs, Races, Rides, Shops, etc...
Riders meeting key points:
* Live roads: Cars have right of way - guide will wait on other side
for all to cross safely.
* Road speed limit is 30 mph - Stay to right and single file -
NO WHEELIES ON ROAD.
* Slow by farms, homes or cabins: If you see people wave as a
sign of thanks.
* EASY on and off roads, in grass waterways, any mowed areas,
field roads, new seedings, etc.
* Respect trail markings, stay on trail.
* Groups do not have to stay in order. If group comes up on
another slower group, the slower group should stop and let faster group go past them.
* Lights should be on if you have them.
* No pit racing and ride slow when by or in parking area.
* HAVE FUN!
Why you should ride:
We do not stop playing when we get old. We get old when we stop playing.

ALWAYS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEER HELPERS:
Before rides:
Work is scouting, flagging, cutting, clearing and marking the trail prior to the event.
After rides:
Removing trail marker and trail maintenance that got exposed or problematic during ride.
Day of rides:
Is Parking, Sign up Board, Sign up table, Guiding, Tail gunner (designated to stay at the rear of a group), Sag support (helping on trail during the ride with broken machines, people tapping out and fixing major marking problem) and other miscellaneous help.
Year around:
Is consulting with me in a riders prospective of possible changes, ideas to consider and keep me motivated to carry the biggest load.
