Heart Screening for Students

We’re excited to announce that another heart screening is coming to Middlebury Community Schools on 3/12/26 from 5:00–8:00 PM in the NMS Fieldhouse. We are incredibly fortunate to have an organization willing to come screen our students locally.

If you’re asking yourself, “Does my child need to be screened?” the answer is yes. Cardiac abnormalities do not discriminate and are more common than many people realize. Statistically there is one student per class with a cardiac abnormality that could lead to a life threatening event. Screenings are recommended every two years, as things can change.
