Joyce Hughes Fall Cornucopia Thread Painting

In this creative class, you’ll take a fall-themed panel and go beyond the printed design to create your own unique cornucopia art quilt. Learn how to deconstruct and reimagine the panels’ elements- pumpkins, leaves, sunflowers and more – into a custom layout that reflects your personal artistic vision. Using dimensional thread painting techniques, you will layer, shade and highlight each piece with thread to bring texture and depth to your work. Explore composition and color blending as you transform a simple panel into a one-of-a-kind fall harvest masterpiece. Lunch and kit included!
