Whiplash in Concert

Whiplash in Concert is part of the 2026 Miami Film Festival, taking place April 9-22.

Relive the 2014 Academy Award®-winning film Whiplash, starring Miles Teller and JK Simmons, written and directed by Damien Chazelle, in a mesmerizing live concert experience conducted by Justin Hurwitz.

Whiplash tells the story of an ambitious young drummer Andrew studying at an elite conservatory, and his ruthless instructor Fletcher who pushes Andrew to the brink in the pursuit of greatness.

The show features a 18-piece jazz big band, including world-class drummer Greyson Nekrutman. Experience the great music and thrilling drum solos performed live along with the film!
