The photo shoot is on! This is the cemetery that is located on Highway 60 between Superior and Miami. Here are some important details:
1. I am unable to pay anyone who is participating, so this is volunteer only. However, any photos featuring you are yours to do as you please as long as you credit me. Obviously, this is on the honor system, but it is always nice to credit the artist.
2. Dress is casual or formal. Come up with whatever you want. This is not gothic themed. I have no problem with that but, if you have something else creative in mind, please follow that thread. Just note that I am looking for classy and artistic to go with the mountain surroundings, not anything overtly sexual. No one participating will be asked to do anything uncomfortable or appear in any state of undress, and I ask that you do not do so voluntarily, either.
3. I am going to be the one taking photos primarily. HOWEVER, if you want to bring your own equipment, people you know, or if you are someone that thinks this would be interesting for your own portfolio, feel welcome to come. Just remember that I expect you and any participants to follow rule number two.
4. If it is raining we will reschedule.
5. This is a private cemetery. Please be respectful. Do not touch or alter the graves. Do not remove anything from them. Please do not leave any trash behind, no matter what the actual state of the location may be (I've heard some things).
6. If owners and/or police come by and tell us to leave, we leave. No arguments, no questions; we pack up and leave. We can always relocate to downtown Miami, downtown Superior or the cemetery in Superior and continue.
7. Keep in mind we will start to lose the light around 5:00 pm, so we should be wrapping up then if not before.
8. Keep in mind this is to have fun and express ourselves. There may be people participating from Superior, Miami, Globe or even the Phoenix area, so be prepared to meet some new people as well!
