Miami Time Swap New Member Orientation

Welcome to Miami Time Swap New Member Orientation! Join us at Legion Park Farmers Market for an in-person orientation where you'll learn all about Miami's time-based trade economy and how you can swap time & services in your community. Whether you're new to time swapping (aka time banking), or want to meet fellow swappers, this orientation is the perfect opportunity. We will learn the basics of how this alternative economy works, and explore how we can exchange skills, services, and time with others.

We will also be holding our Miami Time Swap Collective Visioning meeting directly after the orientation (same place, 12:30-2). We will be focusing on how to strengthen local mutual aid efforts through the Miami Time Swap. Please join us if you'd like!

Things to note: There is a free parking lot at the park, but if it is full you will need to pay for street parking. We will be sitting on blankets on the ground. If you need a folding chair please let us know before the day of. There is a bathroom onsite. It will be hot outside, even under the trees, so please bring your own water, fan, or whatever you need to stay cool. There are lots of delicious vendors at the market for lunch, snacks, and beverages!
