Feast of The Seven Fishes

Well, the holidays are upon us. So, it's time to start bringing in the fun. This year Frankie Kasal and I have decided that we are going to bring the Feast of The Seven Fishes to the restaurant. It is a Christmas tradition in the Italian culture. Actually, it's an American Italian Catholic tradition.

Overview
The Feast of the Seven Fishes is an Italian American celebration of Christmas Eve with dishes of fish and other seafood. Christmas Eve is a vigil or fasting day, and the abundance of seafood reflects the observance of abstinence from meat until the feast of Christmas Day itself.

That's just a brief explanation but you can Google it for more info if you'd like. The day we are planning to have this Feast will be December 20th that Saturday. We will be doing it from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.. there will be a pre-order deadline to be paid by December 2nd. I will keep you posted and as you come into the restaurant before that time I can let you know how much it will be.

Now that being said I'm going to let you know that barbecue season is over. I will still have sandwiches like pulled pork sandwiches, pulled brisket sandwiches, tri-tip sandwiches, shredded chicken sandwiches, through December or until we run out. Who knows what I'm going to make next so come on in and fill your bellies full of goodness.
