About the event

Black History Month Program
Celebrate Black history and culture at the City of Mesquite’s Black History Month Commemorative Program on Saturday, February 21. This special event features student performances, inspiring speeches, and a complimentary brunch. The keynote presentation, Still Standing: A Legacy of Black Resilience, will be delivered by Courtney Brazile of Dallas College.

The program will take place at Dallas College – Eastfield Campus, Building B, located at 3737 Motley Drive. Check-in and brunch will begin at 10:45 a.m., and the program starts at 11:00 a.m.

Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Registration is available online at https://tinyurl.com/MesquiteBHM.
