'For the Love of Merthyr' will be open to the public for a limited run of evening performances at Theatr Soar this October!
This brand new musical is written by Vic Mills, with original music by Stephen J Preston and lyrics by Kevin Mills. It is proudly directed by Merthyr's very own Neil Maidman, performed by Contemporancient Theatre with talented local actors and musicians!
Thanks to the generous support of MTCBC, nearly 1000 Merthyr pupils will see specially arranged matinee performances of this new work, that explores the NHS coming to Merthyr Gen', the birth of Hoover and how this great town adjusted to life after the war. All of this with brilliant original songs, performed by the cast.
