About the event

Native Plants for Every Yard!
Practical tips for growing native plants that protect the birds and pollinators you love. FREE

About this Event

Carol Decker, former Director of Mass Audubon’s Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary and Founding Member of West Newbury Wild and Native, will talk about the native plants you can grow in your own yard to support birds, pollinators, and the whole web of life.

Learn practical information about:

  • Cultivars vs natives
  • Native seed planting
  • No dig gardening
  • And more!

Native plants do not need fertilizers and require far less water than ornamentals. Planting them is a win-win for you and for nature.

After the Talk Join us for refreshments and get suggestions for next steps you can take on your native plant journey.
